DizzyNails

Are you dizzy with excitement about nail polish?

It cracks like molten hot, purplelicious magma!

This is one of those manis that got out of hand (no pun intended) pretty quickly. You know the ones? You start out one way, thinking it will look just so, and then you keep going and going because it's just not exactly quite what you expected?

I used two coats of NYX Girls Nude White as "underwear." Then I layered on two coats of Kleancolor Chunky Holo Bluebell. After that, a coat of Sally Hansen Crackle in Vintage Violet.

This is my first time using a Sally Hansen Crackle for a mani. I've only played with it before, and was actually kind of scared that it would never crack right for me. Overall, I think it cracked pretty well and I'm satisfied with the outcome.

Whoa!!!!!!! I like it!!!

I love how you compare this manicure with molten purple magma, LOL! :D

I love this combo! These colors work perfect together.

P.S. I gave you an award: http://hautelacquer.blogspot.com/2011/06/top-10-award.html

I colored mine in with polish after the 3rd or 4th day, with some nail polish and a really tiny brush...I wore it for a day then...I have pictures of it on my blog!

Minty - thank you very much!!

Carrie - I may have missed it, but I couldn't find the post on your blog. In any case, your blog is super cute and I love all the creative manis!! :)

This Is Me!

My photo
I love color, beauty, creativity, animals, and being care-free. I'm not care-free, in reality, but would like to think it's an attainable state of being! I do like to bend the rules when it serves a greater purpose and I'm all about being authentic. Here I am, take me or leave me! I suppose I'd call myself a sensitive soul. I think I feel things more deeply and ponder things more thoroughly than your average bear.
